Terms of use

Effective from 30 October 2026. This is a translation; the Polish version prevails.

1. Who provides the service

Miskai is a free app for saving recipes. The service is provided by Michał Mróz, contact: [email protected]. By using the app you accept these terms.

2. What the app offers

  • Saving recipes from links (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, websites), photos, PDF files and text.
  • Reading the recipe, translating it into the chosen language (Polish, English or Spanish), converting units and tidying it up with an artificial intelligence (AI) model.
  • Browsing, editing, notes, cooking mode and search in your saved recipes, plus a Discover tab with recipes popular among users.
  • An optional Google account that makes your recipes available on many devices, and a Premium plan without an import limit.

3. Requirements

  • The app is intended for adults (18+).
  • You need an up-to-date browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari) and internet access.
  • An account is not required. Without signing in, recipes are tied to the device — clearing browser data without a saved transfer code means losing access to them.

4. Rules of use

  • You save recipes for your own private use. The rights to original content, photos and videos belong to their authors.
  • Don't upload unlawful content or material with other people's personal data (e.g. photos of documents).
  • Don't try to get around limits, automate imports or disrupt the app.
  • Whatever your plan, a safety limit applies: up to 100 successful imports per day per account or device.
  • Don't share offensive content, ads or spam through links. Anyone can report a shared link — after a few reports it stops working until it's reviewed.
  • If you break these rules we may block your account or device. A blocked person can still see their recipes but can't add or share new ones; the reason for the block is shown in the app. You can appeal by email (contact details in section 1).

5. Plans and Premium

  • Without an account you can import 10 recipes in total, and with a Google account 50 (free plan). Only successful imports count; deleting a recipe doesn't free up the limit. Once the limit is used up, further imports require Premium — saved recipes, adding recipes by hand and saving from Discover keep working.
  • Miskai Premium removes this limit; only a safety cap of 1,000 imports per calendar month applies, which we can raise on request. Planned prices: £2.99 / $3.49 a month or £29.99 / $34.99 a year. Payments are not available yet — the rules for purchase, renewal and cancellation will be added to these terms before they launch.
  • Premium can be obtained with a promo code. A code works on a Google account, may have a limited number of uses or validity period and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Adding recipes by hand, notes, cooking mode and access to saved recipes are available on every plan.

6. Discover

  • The Discover tab shows recipes from public links saved by users, with the creator's name and a link to the original. The rights to content, photos and videos belong to their authors.
  • A creator who doesn't want their recipe to appear in Discover can write to [email protected] — we'll remove it promptly.
  • You can report a recipe (⋯ menu → “Report recipe”). After a few reports it disappears until it's reviewed. Don't misuse reports.
  • Saving a recipe from Discover to your library doesn't use up the import limit.

7. AI-generated content

Recipes are read, translated and converted by an AI model that can make mistakes — e.g. in quantities, units, temperature, time or nutrition values (which are estimates). Check the recipe before cooking, especially if you have allergies or a diet prescribed by a doctor. The app doesn't replace advice from a dietitian or doctor.

8. Availability and changes

The app is provided free of charge, as is. We do our best to keep it running, but outages, maintenance breaks or changes to features may happen. Video playback depends on the service the video comes from. We'll tell you about significant changes to these terms in the app in advance.

9. Your account and deleting it

You can sign out or delete your account and all data at any time in Profile → “Delete account and data”. We may block access for a person who seriously breaks these terms, after first asking them to stop.

10. Complaints

Send comments and complaints to [email protected]. We'll reply within 14 days. If you are a consumer, you may also use out-of-court dispute resolution available in your country.

11. Personal data

How we process data is described in the privacy policy.

12. Final provisions

These terms are governed by Polish law. They don't limit any rights consumers have under mandatory laws of their country of residence.
